Psychology at Aura

Empowering Minds. Enriching Lives.

At Aura Health Rehab, Psychology is one of the many specialized services we offer, alongside Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), Special Education (SPED), and Medical Consultations (MD). Our interdisciplinary approach allows us to provide holistic care tailored to each client's unique needs.

The Psychology Department is committed to promoting mental wellness and enhancing quality of life through ethical, evidence-based, and client-centered care. Our team of highly trained professionals works closely with clients to address a wide range of psychological concerns using effective therapeutic techniques rooted in compassion, respect, and confidentiality.

Our Approach

To ensure the highest level of client satisfaction, Aura Health Rehab provides a structured, well-rounded approach to psychological care.

Informed Consent & Client Rights

Client consent is a fundamental component of our practice. Before any psychological service begins, clients are given comprehensive information on their right to terminate sessions and request refunds; their rights to dignity, honesty, transparency, and autonomy; service rates and payment terms; session procedures and duration; the risks and benefits involved; the types of services available; and the scope and limitations of confidentiality.

Compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012

We strictly adhere to Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and relevant issuances of the National Privacy Commission. All personal and sensitive information is handled with the highest degree of confidentiality, security, and respect for client rights, with robust safeguards against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Psychological Screening & Assessment

Comprehensive evaluations using validated tools for clinical, academic, diagnostic, or behavioral purposes — producing clear, actionable reports that aid diagnosis, intervention planning, and decision-making.

Crisis Intervention

Timely, compassionate support for individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety attacks, suicidal ideation, or other urgent concerns — to stabilize the situation, reduce distress, and connect clients to follow-up care.

Psychological Consultation

A safe, supportive space to explore emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges, tailored to promote self-awareness, resilience, and adaptive coping.

Workshops & Seminars

Evidence-informed sessions on emotional regulation, stress management, workplace mental health, parenting, and adolescent development for individuals, families, schools, and organizations.

Vocational & Career Assessments

Psychometric testing and structured interviews that help students and individuals explore directions aligned with their strengths, values, and abilities.

Corporate & EAP Services

Partner with Aura Health Rehab to support your people — confidential care, compliant documentation, and workplace mental-health programs, at both branches or, by arrangement, at your premises.

Individual Counselling & Psychotherapy

Confidential sessions for employees, with an employee-assistance referral pathway your HR team can activate directly.

Psychological Assessment & Testing

Clinical and diagnostic evaluation, personality and cognitive assessment, and written reports suitable for HR documentation.

Employment Screening

Pre-employment psychological evaluation, placement and promotion assessment, and fitness-to-work evaluation for safety-critical and cash-handling roles. For volume hiring we can arrange group administration at our clinic or, by prior agreement, at your premises.

Workplace Mental Health Programs

Psychoeducation sessions, supervisor and manager orientation, and technical support for your mental-health workplace policy under Republic Act No. 11036 and DOLE Department Order No. 208-20.

20+ years of experience; began at Ateneo Wellness Center providing play therapy for children with ADHD, ASD, and behavioral disorders. Supports adolescents and adults with depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and gender concerns; has helped professionals through EAP since 2019.
